This past weekend was incredibly productive! The hubs and I put on our work boots and did some serious work in the house. We didn't actually put on boots because its still warm here, but you get the point. :)
We DIY'ed, went to Ikea, purchased some new things, hung up a few things, and really got our outside patio nice and ready for winter cookouts. I will be sharing lots and lots of pictures with you over the next few weeks. :) We were also able to do some serious cleaning. Which is probably the worst part of the weekend but at least its done!
One of main projects to complete this weekend was my canvas idea I had for our bedroom. I have actually been working on it for weeks, but have only been able to do a little at time.
I bought this humungous M and decided to paint it a coral color. Little did I know there isn't a color just called coral. geez. So I tested 3 colors and was lucky enough to find a coral in one of the 3 I picked.
Once I had them "M" all nicely painted, I decided to paint the canvas all white. Once that was dry I measured out my stripes and used blue tape. Then painted the gray stripes. Too bad I didn't any pics of that process, but I did take a picture of the final process.
After having both of these complete, my sweet hubby safely attached the M to the canvas. And we placed it over our bed. :)
Our bedroom is slowly getting there! :)
