For The Love of Football

Okay, I'm about 2 weeks overdue for this post. My baddddd. Its been a crazy couple of weeks but it feels good to be blogging again. Work has pretty much kept me busy for the last few weeks but we have definitely been having fun watching my belly grow and spending time with friends over the weekends.

Two weekends ago, my all time favorite football team LSU played their biggest rivals... Alabama. And I'll tell you this, you are either a LSU fan or an Alabama fan. There is no room for loving both. It was a GREAT game, but sadly we lost. They are probably the two best teams in the SEC and if you have no idea what I'm talking about that's okay, you can move on to the pictures ;). I'm from the South and we LIVE for football. Arizona is a little different then what I'm use when it comes to football season. In Louisiana you BLEED purple and gold. Its true and I'm pretty sure I have a shirt that says so.

It has taken me 5 freaking years to get my husband on board as a LSU fan... as long as they aren't playing ASU of course. Well this year he agreed to actually sport an LSU shirt. Too bad we live in Arizona and they don't actually sell any other shirts other then ASU. So I made us shirts and I sure do wish I actually remembered to take a picture of both of them, because they were amazing of course. I did however get a picture of mine. ohhh ya

Ahhh I love football season!

Love for Football

Let me begin by telling you that I am originally from Louisiana.. born and raised! So just so you know I am an OBSESSIVE LSU fan... not one of those obnoxious rude fans, but one of those cant-live-without-football-might-die-if-I-miss-a-game kinda crazy fan.

Any who, two weeks ago my company had an event and invited some guest speakers to come and share with us there stories. One of those guest speakers just-so-happened to be be CHAD JONES. He played for LSU and then was drafted to the NFL by the New York Giants. SO I was able to take a few pictures with him... and in one of them he let me hold his SUPERBOWL ring.. no big deal. ;)

I even got him to sign my football:
