Escaping the Heat

Every once in awhile the hubs and I get to escape from the “real world” (and the HEAT) and head up north to our families cabin. 

This time we forced our really good friends, the Langhoff's, to join our little getaway.

After lots of sweating, laughter, and a few too many stops later, we finally made it to the cabin for a RELAXING weekend!

 

You see, the hubs and the Langhoff’s have been friends for a really l-o-n-g time.Through their friendship I have been able to also build a special relationship with the two of them. So we always enjoy when we are able to spend time with them. 

Not to mention they have this super PRECIOUS baby boy who we absolutely adore.

Even though the weekend went by wayyy too quick, we had plenty of things to do to occupy our time:

we Explored,

 

and of course we Relaxed.

Mini getaways are always nice, but spending them with good friends makes them even better.
