DIY Command Center Board Part 1

So a few weeks ago, the hubs and I decided that we needed a central location for all our important To Do's and calendars to stay organized. And it needed to NOT be the fridge. lol.

I did some serious researching, and by serious I really mean I searched Pinterest for the latest ideas.

I decided I would make my own command center board. So heres what you need:
  • Bulletin Board
  • Fabric
  • Stable Gun
yep thats it!! So we headed to Hobby Lobby and gathered this material. Here are the steps:

1. Start with laying the fabric out on the floor. Then lay a simple bulletin board on top of the fabric.

 2. Once you have it layed out and centered, begin stapling the fabric to the back of the board. I did one side at a time. The hubs pulled the fabric tight while I stapled it to the board.

3. I folded in the corners and then stapled those down as well. I went ahead and put a few extra staples in it just to be sure. :)

4. Once everything is stapled, flip it over and you're done! It seriously took me 10 mins to complete.

Now I'm in the process of hanging it and adding all the small details. So stay tuned for Part 2!
